I was going through my photos from last Saturday when I stumbled upon the album from my shoot with the Gedeon family at Millennium Park. It’s amazing because for the first quarter of the session, little Alexis more or less wanted nothing to do with me. We even tried taking photos of just her parents in an attempt to foster up some jealousy. Nope. Didn’t work. Thank goodness for M&M’s!
That said, I love looking back at the photos and seeing how the little one, over the course of the session, comes out of his or her shell. In this particular instance, little Alexis gave me a huge array of emotions to capture Here are some of my favorites:
We started the session by meeting near The Bean and made our way to the flower gardens in the back. Once Alexis found out we were going to the playground, she was ready to go.
We were never really quite sure what she was so excited to see. I’m sure it was awesome, though.
Once we made it to the playground, it was time for an impromptu game of peakaboo. Yeah, I don’t care how old you are – if a little kid wants to play peakaboo, you play peakaboo!
Playin’ on the swing.
